CLIENT: Gastown 21 Investments

THE BRIEF: McNamara helped conceive the "Create a New History" theme and wrote copy for Gastown 21's new website. Our goal was to attract young, creative entrepreneurs to the company's vacant office and retail space. Within a few months of the website going live, the building was completely leased, which prompted the client to create the first waiting list in its 30-year history. All of this was accomplished on a very tight schedule and modest budget.

CLIENT: Home Suite Home

THE BRIEF: McNamara helped create a comprehensive website for Home Suite Home, an upscale guest suite business. Working closely with an independent designer and photographer, we designed the information structure, wrote the copy, prepared the site for search engines, and provided a long term marketing strategy. Within two weeks of launching, Home Suite Home was fully booked months in advance.

THE BRIEF: As part of an integrated direct response campaign, the non-profit alumni foundation for BC's largest polytechnical institute wanted to create an engaging website to encourage donations. McNamara wrote web copy and delivered it on a tight timeline and modest budget.

CLIENT: Cellex Power

THE BRIEF: Cellex wanted to modernize the company's website, and engaged McNamara to help overhaul everything from core messaging to information architecture to web content. We delivered the copy on a tight timeline and affordable budget. The refreshed website was a key factor in helping the fuel cell startup land a new round of multi-million-dollar financing. Not long after, Cellex was bought out by larger, US-based fuel cell manufacturer, Plug Power, for $45 million.

CLIENT: Vision Critical

THE BRIEF: Upon the merger of Angus Reid Strategies and Vision Critical, the new company required an overhaul of its web strategy and content. McNamara collaborated with internal managers and executives to design a new thought leadership messaging strategy, interviewed section heads to discover points of differentiation, then compiled and wrote web copy to meet these objectives.

THE BRIEF:Working closely with an independent designer, McNamara developed a site map, taglines, and web copy to relaunch Trimseal's custom binder and menu site.

CLIENT: Arbutus Advisors

THE BRIEF: A Vancouver-based financial consulting company approached McNamara to launch its business from scratch. Working closely with the owner, McNamara developed the "Business Turnaround" positioning strategy and messaging/brand platform. Next, we sourced a designer, and collaborated on the logo and identity development. Then we developed a website map, taglines and copy to differentiate the company from other local financial service providers. Within weeks, the company had a full caseload, and Google search ranking's under its targeted keywords was growing rapidly.
